Vital Ingredients for Prepare Ina Garten Parmesan Chicken


  • Chicken breasts without bones and skin (4-6).
  • 2 extra-large eggs
  • All-purpose flour (1 cup)
  • Freshly chopped black pepper (1/4 tsp).
  • Flavorful dry bread crumbs (1/4 cup)
  • Good olive oil
  • 1 tbsp water
  • 1 tsp Kosher salt
  • 1 recipe Lemon Vinaigrette
  • Butter without salt
  • Grated Parmesan cheese, 1/2 cup plus additional for distribution

Lemon Vinaigrette

  • Good olive oil (1/2 cup)
  • 1/2 teaspoon Kosher salt
  • Freshly sliced black pepper (1/4 tsp).
  • Freshly squeezed lemon juice (1/4 cup or 2 lemons).

How Easy Is It?


  1. Pulverize the chicken breasts until they are 1/4 inch thick.
  2.  Add the flour, black pepper, and salt to a bowl. Mix them well.
  3.  Mix egg, 1 tbsp water, and another bowl.
  4.  Mix dry breadcrumbs and mashed Parmesan in a third bowl.
  5.  It’s time to coat the chicken. The three mixtures should be applied one at a time to the chicken. 
  6. Dip the pieces of chicken into the flour mixture. 
  7. Bend the mixture of flour into eggs.
  8. Dip the chicken in the bread crumb mixture. Pressing can be used to check that the chickens are fully covered.
  9. Once you have coated the pan, heat a skillet to medium heat. For frying, you will need 1 tbsp butter and 1 tablespoon of olive oil.
  10. Heat them. Slowly add the pieces of chicken to the hot olive oil. Continue to fry them for about 2 minutes on each side.
