For the Chicken:

  • Two large, boneless and skinless chicken breasts split horizontally to create four.
  • Salt to taste: Add 1 tsp salt.
  • Cracked pepper for taste
  • Parmesan cheese finely mashed (2 tbsp).
  • All-purpose flour ( 2 tbsp)

To make the homemade sauce:

  • Olive oil (1 tbsp).
  • Lemon juice (1-2 tbsp).
  • Chicken broth (1 1/4 cup)
  • 2 tbsp chopped garlic
  • Butter or oil (2 teaspoons)
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch/cornflour combined with 1 tablespoon water
  • Finely ground fresh Parmesan cheese (1/3 cup).
  • Heavy cream/evaporated milk (1/2 cup)
  • Fresh parsley (2 Tbsp).
  • Capers (2 tbsp).

How Do You Prepare Lemon Parmesan Chicken?

  1. Take a large bowl. In a bowl, combine flour and Parmesan cheese.
  2.  Season the chicken breasts with salt and cracked pepper. These will make your chicken delicious.
  3.  Heat a large skillet on medium heat. Add 1 tbsp oil and 2 tablespoons butter to the pan. Let the butter melt. 
  4. Bake the chickens in the hot oil for about 3-4 minutes. Continue to cook until the chickens turn brown on both ends.
  5. Now it’s time for the garlic to be added to the oil. Continue to fry them until they have a sweet aroma.
  6. Next, add the chicken broth and cream one at a time. Mix thoroughly. 
  7. Cook on medium heat. The chicken is now ready.
  8. Prepare the sauce. To the sauce, add capers, Parmesan cheese, and salt. Continue stirring for 2 minutes.
  9. Add the lemon juice to the sauce. 
  10. Add the chicken pieces so that the sauce can absorb their flavors.
  11.  Share the savory dish among your loved ones by adding sliced fresh lemons and capers to it. 
  12. Serve them with steamed vegetables, rice, or zucchini noodles.

 If the sauce becomes too thick, you can use cornstarch and water to thin it. You can make the sauce as quickly as you want.
