INGREDIENTS

To Make Chickpea Nuggets

  1. 1/2 cup of rolled oatmeal
  2. 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
  3. One small onion
  4. black pepper
  5. 1/2 teaspoon mustard
  6. Salt
  7. One teaspoon of paprika powder
  8. One tablespoon of nutritional yeast
  9. One small onion
  10. Two cups of chickpeas

To Make the Cake:

  1. 1/2 cup panko bread crumbs
  2. 1 cup almond milk
  3. 1/2 cup cornflakes

Directions:

DIRECTION
  1. Set the oven to 350 degrees F. 
  2. Combine panko bread crumbs with cornflakes—Cook for 2 minutes.
  3. Cook the onion for 3 minutes.
  4. Grind the oats in a blender or food processor.. Add mustard powder, garlic powder, chickpeas, and salt to the mixture of oats.
  5. Create nuggets out of the chickpea mix by pressing them using your hands.
  6. Incorporate almond milk and then cover with panko breadcrumbs and cornflakes.
  7. Place the parchment paper in the frying pan to bake the nuggets over it for about 15 minutes.
  8. As the nuggets begin to turn golden brown, place them on a plate warm.
